Meghalaya: Two arrested for murdering 10-year-old in Ri-Bhoi

Guwahati: Two men were arrested for the alleged murder of a 10-year-old boy over a bottle of liquor in Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya.

Pynshailang Warjri (32) and Banshngain Tynsong (28) reportedly admitted that the boy stole their liquor bottle on February 18.

Fueled by anger, the duo chased the boy and killed him by smothering him with a bag.
Following the alleged murder, they hid the body before later moving it to a nearby garden.

A police source confirmed their confession and revealed the arrest of their accomplice.

A crime scene reconstruction is planned to gather further details of the sequence of events, said the source.
