Meghalaya: Truck plunges into river as Pariong-Shillong bridge collapses

SHILLONG: A bridge connecting Pariong to Shillong in Meghalaya collapsed, resulting in a truck plunging into the river while crossing.

The bridge, situated in Larem village, serves as a crucial link between Pariong and Shillong as well as Nongstoiñ in Meghalaya.

The incident took place at around 8:30 am on Monday (March 11).

However, fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
