Applications are invited for recruitment of eleven vacant teaching positions or jobs in Williamnagar Govt College Meghalaya.

Williamnagar Govt College Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Lecturers in various disciplines. Williamnagar Government College, formerly known as Williamnagar College is situated at the centre of Williamnagar town, East Garo Hills District, in the State of Meghalaya. It was established on the 6th May, 2000 as a private College by the collective effort of the senior citizens, the general public, NGO’s and student leaders. The main objective of establishing the college was to provide educational Institution for higher education within the reach of common people in the District. The need for imparting quality education for Undergraduate studies was kept uppermost in mind in the founding years. The College was then managed and run by the Governing Body comprising of prominent senior citizens as members along with the Principal and eight Teachers till the year 2009.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Master Degree from recognised university with, NET/SLET/SET or also PhD in relevant discipline.
2. Minimum 55% of Marks in Master Degree. (an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grade system is followed also) at the Master’s level
3. 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC at Bachelors & Master Degree level altogether.
