Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or jobs in St Anthony's College Meghalaya.

St Anthony's College Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs of Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science (Post Graduate Section). St. Anthony’s College is an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to and managed altogether by the Salesians of Don Bosco Educational Society (Registered under the society’s act of 1890: No: 227/91 of 199). It is affiliated to North Eastern Hill University. The College has also been reaccredited with “A” grade by NAAC in 2088 with CGPA of 3.60/4.0, making the college the highest graded in the East and North East of the Country.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Consistently good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (General Candidates) and 50 % (SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2. Besides the above qualifications, only those candidates who also fulfill all the required norms of stipulated by the UGC regulation 2018 may apply for the post.

Desirable:

1. Candidates whose specialization is in Indian Politics / International Relations
2. Candidates who have obtained Ph.D. in the subject and have research publications
3. Candidates who have had a teaching experience.
