Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or jobs in NIT Meghalaya.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in the Department of Chemical & Biological Sciences on a purely temporary basis.

Discipline wise vacancies :

• Physical Chemistry / Theoretical Chemistry : 1
• Biosciences or Biotechnology : 2

Qualification :

Physical Chemistry / Theoretical Chemistry :

1. Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) in Physical / Theoretical Chemistry.
2. First class in UG and PG level.
3. Should be able to teach CY 407 (Quantum Chemistry), CY 531 (Chemical Kinetics, Reaction and Molecular Dynamics), CY 409 (Analytical Methods)

Biosciences or Biotechnology :

1. Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) in Biosciences or Biotechnology.
2. First class in UG and PG level.
3. Should be able to teach CY 101 (Engineering Chemistry), CY 151 (Engineering Chemistry Laboratory), CY 103 (Biology for Engineers)

Salary : Rs. 50,000/- per month and/or as per the institute norms. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pensions/gratuity etc. is application. Free Hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided if required.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 15/07/2024 at 10 AM at NIT Meghalaya.
