Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in NIT Meghalaya

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs of Project Associate to work on the R&D project under Border Roads Organisation (BRO)-Research & Development Establishment, Government of India, sponsored project bearing the sanction number 20415/Res/Steel Bridges/58/E2 undertaken by the Department of Civil Engineering entitled "Life and Serviceability Estimation of Steel Bridges."

Minimum Qualification : Masters in an engineering discipline

Desirable Qualification : Masters in Civil Engineering / Masters in Mechanical Engineering

Salary : Rs. 25000/- per month.

Selected candidate shall not have claim on any regular position and shall not be bestowed any of the privilege like housing, medical facility, and other benefits available to regular employees of the institute.

Upper Age Limit : 33 years

Job Roles :

The candidate has to do laboratory / field experiments like sensor mounting on bridge decks and calibration, site visits for data collection and analysis, and other project-related activities.
