Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in NESAC Meghalaya.

North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Research Scientist, Research Associate-I, Junior Research Fellow and Project Associate-I altogether purely on temporary basis.

Eligibility Criteria :

(i) M.E./M.Tech degree should be with an aggregate minimum of 60% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent altogether from recognized university.

(ii) B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. degree should be with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale or equivalent altogether from recognized university

The applicants for JRF positions should qualify one of the following tests in relevant discipline (as per advertised discipline) and the year of acquiring qualification along with score card also have to be furnished in the online applications:

i. CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test including NET-Lecturership

ii. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD

iii. Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by MHRD

iv. Biotechnology Eligibility Test & Test conducted in Bio-informatics by Bio-informatics National Consortium altogether

v. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) altogether conducted by Department of Atomic Energy.

vi. All India Competitive Examination (AICE) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research altogether.

vii. State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) conducted on behalf of the UGC by the National Test Agency.

viii. N-JET (NESAC JRF Eligibility Test)

Age Limit :

• For Research Scientist : Maximum age 35 years as on last date of online application.
• For Research Associate-I : Maximum age 35 years as on last date of online application.
• For Junior Research Fellow: Maximum Age 28 years as on last date of online application.
• For Project Associate-I: Maximum Age 35 years as on last date of online application
