Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in NESAC Meghalaya.
North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Research Scientist and Junior Research Fellow on temporary project basis.

Eligibility Criteria :
(i) M.E./M.Tech degree should be with an aggregate minimum of 60% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent from recognized university.
(ii) B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. degree should be with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale or equivalent from recognized university.
The applicants for JRF positions should qualify one of the following tests in relevant discipline (as per advertised discipline) and the year of acquiring qualification along with score card have to be furnished at the time of Interview:
i. CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test including NET-Lecturership
ii. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD
iii. Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) conducted by MHRD
iv. Biotechnology Eligibility Test & Test conducted in Bio-informatics by Bio-informatic
National Consortium
v. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) conducted by Department of Atomic Energy.
vi. All India Competitive Examination (AICE) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural
Research.
vii. State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) conducted on behalf of the UGC by the National Test
Agency.
viii. N-JET (NESAC JRF Eligibility Test): The N-JET 2021 was conducted at NESAC on
15.03.2022.
Candidates having valid Score Cards may apply directly.

Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for walk-in-interviews for the above positions on 5th & 6th August 2024 at NESAC, Umiam at 08:30 AM (reporting time).

Applicants attending the walk-in-interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in the biodata along with a set of self-attested photocopies.
