Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in NEIGRIHMS Shillong Meghalaya.

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Scientist-C (Medical) and Multi Tasking Staff in the project entitled "Setting up of Nation-Wide Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and National Calamities" under VRDL funded by ICMR, New Delhi.

Name of post : Scientist— C (Medical)

No. of posts : 1

Essential Qualification :

Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year R & D/ teaching experience or Post graduate diploma in medical subjects with two years R & D / teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university

OR

MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized university with 4 years R & D/ teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree.

OR

BDS/B.V.Sc & AH degree recognized by DCI / VCI with 5 years R & D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS/ B.V.Sc. degree.

Desirable Qualification :

i) MD in the relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.

ii) Additional Post doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).

iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data management.

Essential Qualification :

High School/Matric/equivalent from a recognized board.

Desirable Qualification :

Preference will also be given to candidates having prior working experience in Office work/Microbiology Lab and good knowledge of computer skills.
