Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in NEIGRIHMS Meghalaya.
North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs altogether of Project Scientist I (Non-Medical) on contractual basis under ICMR funded project titled “Study of molecular profile of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the North Eastern region and its relation to Epstein Barr Virus(EBV) infection.” The post is purely temporary on contractual basis. The appointment will be initially for a period of 6 months which may be renewed depending on
performance of the candidate and extension of the project from the funding agency.

Qualification : First Class MSc / PhD in Biological science altogether

Desirable :
Experience in research in cancer including molecular diagnosis, genomic surveillance, serological diagnosis in hospital/lab settings.
Experience in overall project management and coordination with clinical sites, imparting training in molecular and serological diagnosis, data collection, compilation, bioinformatics and statistical analysis, preparation of diagnostic reports.
Remuneration : Rs. 56000+ 9% HRA
Upper Age Limit : 35 years
