Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in NEHU Shillong Meghalaya.

North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate (PA) in a three-year project sponsored by the Science & Engineering Research Board entitled "Development of triplet emitting d6-metal complexes containing substituted polypyridine ligands for sensing and catalytic applications" purely on temporary basis. Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of North Eastern Hill University, Shillong subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.

Essential Qualification :

First class MSc in Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic Chemistry and Physics and Mathematics as minor subjects at the BSc level.

NET/GATE qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience:

The candidate should have work experience in the field of Inorganic Photochemistry.

Remuneration : Rs. 37,000/- for NET(JRF) and Rs. 28,000/- per month for others ( HRA as applicable).

Maximum Age : Age not exceeding 29 years of the date of interview.
