Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in NEHU Meghalaya.
North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored research project entitled "AN APPROACH TOWARDS ASYMMETRIC SYNTHESIS VIA THE C-H BOND ACTIVATION ASSISTED BY CHIRAL ORGANO- METALLIC SPECIES AS CATALYTIC SYSTEM" purely on temporary basis. Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute
norms. The objectives of the University shall be to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-Eastern region, and, in particular, their intellectual, academic and cultural advancement

Essential Qualification :
First class MSc in Chemistry with specialization in organic Chemistry. NET/GATE qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
Remuneration : As per SERB rules for the fellowship and Host institution rules.
Maximum Age : Age not exceeding 29 years of the date of interview
Job Roles :
The candidate has to design and synthesize the catalysts and use them in the asymmetric synthesis
