Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or jobs in NECTAR Meghalaya.

North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs of Director General on direct recruitment or deputation basis.

Qualifications:

Essential: Master’s Degree in Science or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

Desirable: Ph.D. degree in Science or Engineering/ Technology or M. Tech. in Engineering/ Technology

Experience:

i. Direct Recruitment

Essential:

a) Experience of minimum 20 years in administration and supervision at the Senior Management Level which should include handling of Scientific projects and interacting with State Governments, National/ International agencies, technology applications and in-field adoption, technology appraisal.

b) Experience of dealing with North Eastern State Governments/ Projects relating to North Eastern States.

Desirable:

(i) Good working experience/ exposure of commercial activities in Central/ State Government Institutions/PSUs/Boards;

(ii) Replication of innovations, and experience of working in backward and rural areas having interaction with farmers, the rural poor etc.

(iii) Experience of handling/ supervising scientific projects in any Scientific Department/ Organization.

ii. Deputation (Including Short Term Contract)/Absorption:

Officers under the Central/ State Governments/ Union Territories/Recognized Research
Institutions/Universities/ Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/ Statutory or Autonomous Organizations:- Holding analogous post in HAG (Rs.67,000 -annual increment @ 3% Rs.79,000) / Level 15 (Rs.1,82,200- Rs.2,24,100) on regular basis;

OR

with three years’ regular service in PB-4 GP Rs. 10,000 / Level 14 (Rs.1,44,200 - Rs.2,18,200)

AND

Possessing educational qualifications and experience as prescribed for Direct Recruitment.
