Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or jobs in MCAB Shillong Meghalaya.

Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank (MCAB) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Cooperative Intern to work with Primary
Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in which he/she will be hired for one year only. The Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. (MCAB) was established in 1971, with the formation of Meghalaya State after bifurcation of the erstwhile Assam State. Since then the Bank has developed and expanded its activities/operations and has grown in manifolds. MCAB commenced Banking operations with just two branches – one at Shillong and the other at Tura. Today, the Bank has a wide network of 49 branches, spread throughout the State providing effective banking products and other related services to the general public.The MCAB being a house hold name in Meghalaya & as a pioneer in Banking in Meghalaya, has taken banking to the doorsteps of the people of the State and has also been able to nurture and develop banking habits among the people.

Eligibility Criteria :

MBA or equivalent in Marketing Management /Cooperative Management/Agri Business Management/Rural Development Management.

Proficiency in computers is essential.

Salary : Rs. 25000/- per month

Age Limit: Minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years.

Job Roles :

The Intern will play a vital role in facilitating coordination between PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) and other primary cooperatives, altogether offering essential guidance throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities include resolving day-to-day operational challenges encountered by PACS, particularly in the domains of computerization, business plan formulation, project development, addressing financing issues, and also obtaining necessary approvals.

Additionally, the intern will also be tasked with the preparation and dissemination of weekly status reports outlining the progress of project implementation.
