Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based positions or jobs in IIM Shillong Meghalaya.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Research Assistant in the Centre for Community Impact & Engagement for North East (NE-CCIE). The Centre for Community Impact and Engagement for NE (NE-CCIE) is a proactive and forward-thinking hub of the Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIMS). The centre is dedicated to tackling the pressing economic and social issues faced by North-East India, especially at the grassroots level. The centre pivots towards an evidence-based approach to enabling positive change for social impact. It envisions a thriving,
sustainable business ecosystem in North-East India, fostered by skills and active collaboration. Evidence-based insights, a solution-driven approach, and empowering indigenous communities for an inclusive future are crucial to spearheading impactful transformations. With a strong commitment to insights and engagement, the center brings together diverse participants, including academia, industry, the public sector, civil society, and an Indigenous knowledge system's perspective to drive meaningful changes for NE India. The position is contractual for 12 months and will be renewed for 12 months pending strong performance, enabling the candidate to build up a profile for PhD applications

Salary : Rs. 35000/- per month
Qualification & Experience :
A Master's degree in a discipline such as Engineering, Economics, Business, Statistics, or Psychology from any of the top-tier colleges in the country is preferred. Highly motivated candidates with a Master's degree from another discipline and good analytical skills may also apply.
Candidates must have the following:
- An open mind to learning new concepts and thinking creatively
- High standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and absolute commitment to task completion.
- Good writing skills
- Strong command over MS Office
