Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based positions or jobs in ICAR RCNEH Meghalaya.

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region (ICAR RCNEH) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of five vacant posts or jobs under an ongoing National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) project purely on contractual basis. The positions are purely temporary on a contractual basis and are initially offered for one year.

Name of post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential Qualification : Masters in Forestry/ Agroforestry/Agronomy/Soil Science with NET/Equivalent

Desirable Qualification : Working experience on agro-forestry systems/farming systems and hands on experience in soil and plant analysis as well as computer applications

Essential Qualification : Any Master degree in Agriculture preferably Agri Extension/Agri
Economics/ Agri statistics

Desirable Qualification : Working experience in data collection from the rural areas and working knowledge of computer for its application in Agriculture

Desirable Qualification : Work experience for independent execution of field works/operating portable scientific tools
