ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region (ICAR RCNEH) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Lab. Technician – III and Laboratory Technician on contractual basis under different projects. ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, a premier research institute under the Natural Resource Management division of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, has been promoting and conducting research, extension and human resource development activities in agriculture and allied sectors for hilly and mountain ecosystem of North Eastern Hill Region. The institute has been striving hard through activities in its various divisions to maximize the needed output aimed at fulfilling its goals.

Name of project : Unravelling thegenmic epidemiology of Campylobacter jejuni/ C. coli in the pig and poultry using a value chain approach (Campy Chain) (ICMR funded project)
Essential Qualification : 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in life sciences (or 1 year diploma and 1 year work experience) such as medical laboratory technology or any other related
subjects
Desirable Qualification : Work Experience in biological sample collection and bacteriological media preparation, etc.
Emoluments : Rs. 18000/- per month
Age Limit : 30 years

Name of project : Zoonotic and Vector-Borne Diseases (ZVBD) Research and Training Centre (DBT/ Wellcome Trust India Alliance funded project)
Essential Qualification : Graduate or 3 years Diploma in Life Sciences and other relevant subjects
Desirable Qualification : Work Experience in microbiology & biotechnology
Emoluments : Rs. 20000/- per month + HRA
Age Limit : 30 years
