Shillong: Scientists from the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP) have discovered an ancient tribal conference hall in the sacred groves of Meghalaya, preserved by the Jaintia tribes.

The sacred groves boast exceptional biodiversity, with over 600 documented plant species.
