Sources informed that the BSF seized all the cattle and took them to a specified location to keep them safe.

However, there were no arrests made during the operation.

The cattle were meant to be smuggled into Bangladesh, sources said.

Police suspect that the cattle that were rescued may have been stolen from various parts of the region.

An investigation has been initiated to identify the persons behind the racket.
