Rahul Gandhi blasts PM Modi over Manipur crisis
NEW DELHI: In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre of neglecting the escalating crisis in Manipur.
Speaking at the Lok Sabha in Parliament on Monday (July 01), Rahul Gandhi stated, “Manipur is embroiled in a civil war, but it seems that for our Prime Minister and home minister, Manipur doesn't even exist.”
He added: “They (BJP government led by Narendra Modi) have allowed the state (Manipur) to burn for over a year.”
He directly blamed the government’s policies for exacerbating the unrest in Manipur.

“Your policies have set Manipur on fire,” leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi said while attacking the BJP-led NDA government.
Expressing disappointment with the Prime Minister's apparent lack of action on the Manipur issue, Rahul Gandhi said, “Our Prime Minister has never even visited Manipur.”
