Manipur: Three suspected KYKL cadres nabbed in Imphal
Imphal: Manipur Police arrested three suspected cadres of the proscribed Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) during an operation in Imphal.
A police official said that they were arrested with extorted money, a vehicle, and some incriminating documents during a cordon and search operation in a secluded place in Imphal West, Manipur.

The police said that based on intelligence sources, a police team conducted the operation at Changangei Uchekon area in the Imphal West district at around 4 am on Sunday.
The operation successfully winded up with the arrest of three alleged extortionists.
They were later identified as Oinam Milan Singh (52), Yumnam Ranbir Singh (51) and Khaidem Dhanabir Meitei (24).

They were allegedly involved in extortion activities in and around the Imphal area.
After their arrest, the police seized four mobile handsets, two Aadhaar cards, two driving licenses, two PAN cards, one voter card, three wallets, Rs 9125 in cash and one four-wheeler Vehicle.
The arrested individuals are suspected to be KYKL cadres.
The suspected along with the recovered items were handed over to the concerned police station for further legal action.
