The vehicle suddenly rolled down the slope and plummeted into the deep gorge apparently due to some technical issue and rash as well as negligence of the driver, a local claimed.

Rescue teams including police, security personnel, locals and civil administration rushed to the scene, as the vehicle had already fallen into the deep gorge, making it challenging to reach the victims.

Despite the efforts of the rescue teams, one male occupant of the vehicle stated to be a resident of Cachar district of Assam succumbed to his injuries at the spot.
