Manipur: Mysterious death of school warden sparks outrage in Imphal

Imphal: A 26-year-old school warden was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his office in Helping Hands Group Academy near Imphal Airport in Manipur.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Shagolsem Lenin.

The Joint Action Committee (JAC) has given the state government an ultimatum, demanding the arrest of the culprits and legal action by Thursday.

The JAC staged a sit-in protest at Yairipok market, seeking justice for Lenin's family and a thorough investigation.

Lenin was found dead hanging at the school campus by the officials.

His family claimed that there were no visible signs indicating death by hanging, fueling suspicions.
