The four men are accused of kidnapping Rabdul Islam (24), Md Akta Mohammed (32), and Nassiruddin (20) near the Imphal Airport on September 19. The victims were taken hostage and held for ransom.

A complaint was filed by Tahamed Mia, a relative of the kidnapped workers, with the Singjamei police station on September 22.
