Manipur: Armed man loot Rs 6 lakh from bank in Kakching

Imphal: An armed robber made off with over Rs 6 lakh from a UCO Bank branch in Kakching, Manipur on Wednesday.

The daylight heist occurred at around 3 pm when a masked individual, brandishing a firearm, entered the bank and demanded cash.

CCTV footage shows the lone assailant holding the bank manager at gunpoint.

After obtaining the money, the robber escaped on a scooter.

Following the incident, the police have launched an investigation.

The police have gathered CCTV footage and are questioning the bank manager and staff.

However, no arrests have been made so far.
