Man from Assam found dead in Bihar

Guwahati: A man from Udalguri in Assam was reportedly found dead at a railway station in Bihar under mysterious conditions.

The deceased was identified as 40-year-old Champak Deka, a resident of Ganak Para in Kalaigaon, Udalguri.

He was found dead at the Araria railway station in Bihar.

His family said that Deka was travelling alone to Bangalore by train.

He had left behind his wife and two children at home.

According to reports, Deka's family grew concerned when their phone calls to him went unanswered.

Later some locals at Araria station answered the call, informing them that Deka was found unconscious and in dire need of medical attention.

Upon receiving the distressing news, Deka's brother contacted the police.

Following this, the state police contacted the Araria station and reported that he had died.

However, the cause of Deka's death remains unknown and an investigation has begun.

The family has departed for Bihar to reclaim Deka's body.
