For Bengal to prosper, BJP is the only choice, says Assam CM
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday campaigned for Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal.
Taking to X Sarma wrote, “For Bengal to prosper, the BJP is the only choice. Growth, security and filip to culture are intrinsic to our vision for the state. I am attending a meeting in Uttar Kolkata Lok Sabha.”
The Chief Minister attended a rally in the Jadavpur area and said that since 1952, Jadavpur Lok Sabha has been controlled by Leftists & Marxists. Cong-Left and TMC used their influence here to perpetuate an ecosystem that incentivised Urban Naxals. 2024 will put a full stop to this. BJP will win.
He urged the people in Bengal to vote for the BJP and help them achieve the feat of 400 seats so that more temples could be built in the nation.
Sarma also spoke about “Sandeshkhali” and cautioned the people of Bengal against allowing the region’s notoriety to define West Bengal.
“Today, Dakshineswar Kali Temple is not the identity of West Bengal,” he said urging West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to take decisive action to preserve the state’s cultural heritage and restore its former glory.
