Assam CM says BJP will win 15 out of 20 LS seats in Odisha

Guwahati: While campaigning for the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that BJP is confident of winning 15 plus seats out of the 20 seats in the Lok Sabha Elections.

The Assam Chief Minister also that in the Odisha Assembly Elections, BJP is also assured of winning 75 plus seats out of the 147 seats.

When a reporter said that Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik recently said that the BJP is daydreaming about forming the government in the state, Sarma said, “We will soon get to know who is daydreaming and what reality is. Let us wait till June 4 and everything will be clear.”

Patnaik on Monday lashed out at the BJP and said that the party is daydreaming about forming a government in the state.

“The BJP has been daydreaming for many days,” Patnaik said in response to remarks made by his aide VK Pandian on the matter.

In a staunch rebuttal to PM's assertions that days of the BJD government in Odisha were numbered, Pandian said, “Naveen Patnaik will take oath as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the sixth consecutive time between 11.30 AM to 1.30 pm on June 9.”
