Applications are invited for recruitment of 33 vacant posts or career in Indian Ports Association in 2024.

Indian Ports Association is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Assistant Executive Engineer and Junior Executive Engineer in 2024. Indian Ports Association (IPA) was constituted in 1966 under Societies Registration Act, primarily with the idea of fostering growth and development of all Major Ports which are under the supervisory control of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Over the years, IPA has consolidated its activities and grown strength by strength and considered to be a think tank for the Major Ports with the ultimate goal of integrating the maritime sector. 

Name of post : Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)

No. of posts : 25

Essential Qualification : Degree or Equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized
University / Institution

Desirable Experience : Two Years’ Experience in Executive Cadre in Planning/ Construction/ Design/ Maintenance preferably of Port Marine Structures in an Industrial/ Commercial/Govt. Undertaking

Name of post : Junior Executive Engineer (Civil)

No. of posts : 25

Essential Qualification : 1st Class (60% or more) B.E./ B.Tech (Regular/Full time) from Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution

Maximum Age : 30 years. Age relaxation for each categories are as follows-

1. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe : 5 years
2. Other Backward Classes (Non creamy layer) : 3 years
3. Persons with Benchmark Disability 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates)

Selection Procedure : The selection process shall comprise Online Tests and/or Interviews as applicable
