ITANAGAR: In a concerted effort, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Arunachal Pradesh police, have successfully facilitated the return of two young men who were ‘misled’ into joining militant organizations.

On Friday (June 07), alongside the deputy commissioner of Changlang district and Arunachal Pradesh police, military personnel worked closely with the families of these individuals to ensure their safe reintegration.

An official statement disclosed that the two cadres were ‘misguided’ into joining militant organizations.

Their safe return was marked by a formal handover to their respective families in the presence of authorities, highlighting a collaborative approach to addressing such issues.
