DHARAMSALA: Members of the New Zealand cricket team met Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama in Dharamsala on Tuesday (October 24) morning.

The New Zealand cricket team members met Dalai Lama at McLeod Ganj in Dharamsala ahead of its crucial ICC cricket world cup match against Australia.

New Zealand are scheduled to play Australia at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium in Dharamshala on October 28.

It may be mentioned here that the Dalai Lama had cancelled his trip to Sikkim earlier this month due to flash-floods in the state and advice of his doctors on health grounds.

On October 22, India beat New Zealand by four wickets in the ICC cricket world cup 2023 match.
