Heavy rainfall likely to lash Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Heavy to moderate rainfall are likely to lash several parts of the Northeast state of Meghalaya over the next few days.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), forecasts indicate that from April 13 to April 17, there will be intermittent rain with isolated thunderstorms across Meghalaya.

For April 13 to 15, isolated thunderstorms are predicted in different parts of Meghalaya.

On April 16, isolated thunderstorms are expected along with gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph.

April 17th is likely to experience heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph affecting the region.
