Zubeen Garg death case: Gauhati High Court denies bail to Siddharth Sharma again

Guwahati: The Gauhati High Court has rejected the bail plea of Siddharth Sharma for the second time, remanding the accused in the Zubeen Garg case to continued judicial custody.
The ruling was pronounced by Justice Mitali Thakuria.
She turned down the latest bail plea after taking into account the case records, submissions made before the court, and the overall circumstances of the matter.
With this order, it becomes the second occasion on which Sharma’s request for bail has been rejected by a judicial forum, following an earlier refusal by a Fast Track Court.
According to case details, Sharma was arrested on October 1, 2025, in connection with the death of singer Zubeen Garg.
The incident occurred on September 19, 2025, and he has remained in judicial custody since his arrest.
