Guwahati: Promising cricketer from Assam Riyan Parag has been selected to represent India in the upcoming IDFC FIRST Bank T20I series against Bangladesh.
The T20I series, comprising three matches, will be played in Gwalior on October 6, New Delhi on October 9 and Hyderabad on October 12, 2024.
The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) expressed excitement on Riyan being named in India’s T20I squad for the three-match series against Bangladesh.

“We are behind Riyan every step of the way, and we have no doubt he will shine bright and make Assam proud,” ACA president Taranga Gogoi said.
ACA secretary Tridib Konwar said, “We are thrilled to see Riyan Parag’s selection for the T20I series. This is a proud moment for Assam Cricket Association and cricket enthusiasts across the region.”
The ACA extended its warmest wishes to Riyan Parag for a spectacular performance in the series.
