Assam: One nabbed with huge quantity of drugs in Guwahati
Guwahati: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Assam Police on Saturday night seized a substantial quantity of suspected drugs from two locations in Guwahati.
A suspected drug supplier was apprehended during the raid, police said.
The accused was identified as Bhaskar Kalita, 30, a resident of Bajali, Assam.

He was apprehended during a raid at a rented house in Kalyanpur's Hengrabari area and a residence on Ganga Path in Anandapur, both under the Dispur police station's jurisdiction.

During the raid, 138.84 grams of heroin, 645 grams of ganja, Rs 10,700 in cash, 107 strips of narcotic tablets, 52 empty plastic containers, two mobile phones and a Mahindra XUV 3X0 vehicle bearing registration number AS01GA1759 were seized.
Further details into the case are currently under investigation.
