Assam: Man found dead in Guwahati, drug overdose suspected
Guwahati: A man was found dead at a garage in Guwahati, Assam on Tuesday under suspicious circumstances.
The body was found at a garage in Guwahati's Six Mile area.
The deceased, identified as Ajit Barman, was an employee of a local garage in the Chacal area of Guwahati's Six-Mile.

Although the exact cause of death is still unknown, locals suspect that Barman may have succumbed to a drug overdose.
The area has a reputation for having youth with drug addiction, a local said.

The garage owner stumbled upon the body and notified the police, who arrived at the scene to recover the body for post-mortem examination.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Barman's death.
