Assam: Man arrested for murdering father in Guwahati
Guwahati: A man has been arrested in Guwahati, Assam for allegedly murdering his father.
As per reports, the incident took place near the Chapaidang area of Guwahati, Assam.
The deceased has been identified as Day and the accused as Prantus Das.

The father-son duo allegedly fought over the father's drinking problem.
The fight turned out to be physical and the father was severely attacked.

While Daya sustained severe injuries, medical attention was too late and he succumbed on the spot to the injuries.
Locals informed the police about the incident and Prantus was arrested on murder charges.
An investigation has been initiated by the police in connection with the incident.
