National Film Awards Live: SRK, Rani, Vikrant win prestigious awards

Guwahati: At the 71st National Film Awards ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu is honouring artistes from the Indian film industry, including powerhouses such as Mohanlal, Shah Rukh Khan, and Rani Mukerji for their contribution to cinema for the year 2023.

The ceremony started at 4 pm at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Mohanlal gets Dadasaheb Phalke Award

The National Award for Best Playback singer (female) was won by Shilpa Rao for 'Jawan'. 

GV Prakash won the National Award for Best Music Director for the Tamil film 'Vaathi'.

Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant was honoured with the Best Choreography award for 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.

The Best Action Direction award was given to 'Hanu-Man' (Telugu). 

Best Assamese Film has been conferred to ‘Rongatapu'.

Best Bengali Film has been conferred to ‘Deep Fridge’.

Best Hindi Film has been conferred to 'Kathal'. 

Sahu Garapati receives Best Telugu Film award for ‘Bhagavanth Kesari (I Don’t Care)’ at the 71st National Film Awards.

Divvya Gambhir and Nidhhi Gambhir won the National Award for Best Costume for 'Sam Bahadur' 

Shah Rukh Khan Blows Kiss After Being Honoured As 'King of Arts'

Best Biographical/Historical Reconstruction/Compilation Film is conferred to ‘Lentina Ao – A Light on the Eastern Horizon’ (English).

Best Direction award was presented to 'The First Film' (Hindi). 

Best Non-Feature Film award was conferred to 'Flowering Man' (Hindi).
