This development positions Nagaland as a promising destination, drawing attention from both domestic and international tourists.

According to the survey conducted by the Nagaland directorate of economic and statistics the renowned Hornbill Festival witnessed a significant influx of visitors in 2023, with a total of 1,54,057 attendees.

Notably, there has been a remarkable surge in tourist arrivals in Nagaland over the years.

The domestic tourist footfall soared from 23,968 in 2021 to 99,720 in 2023, reflecting a substantial growth trajectory.
