COVID-19: Ten more die in Assam, tally reaches to 370

With ten more deaths reported on Monday, the COVID-19 fatality in Assam rose to 370, state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed in a tweet.

“Very sad and anguished to inform that 10 more COVID19 positive patients have succumbed to the disease,” Sarma tweeted.

“My condolences to all the families. We stand by you in this hour of grief,” he added.

The deceased have been identified as Saringia Phukan (50) of Dibrugarh, Tulika Goswami (56) of Kamrup (Metro), Sadananda Thakuria (60) of Kamrup (Metro), Mahesh Deka (82) of Kamrup (metro), Bhupendra Mohan Das (80) of Krimganj, Pobitra Saikia (55) of Sivasagar, Priya Baishya (26) of Kamrup (Metro), Kanak Chandra Deka (76) of Nalbari, Kamal Kalita (25) of Nalbari, and Mahamad Ali (60) of Karimganj.
