Congress-led INDIA bloc confident of winning 295 seats in Lok Sabha election

NEW DELHI: The Congress-led INDIA bloc has exuded confidence of wresting power from the BJP in the Centre after securing majority in the Lok Sabha elections.

The INDIA bloc has exuded confidence that it will win at least 295 seats in the Lok Sabha, thus securing majority.

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge said, "INDIA will win at least 295 seats."

Kharge made this statement after a crucial meeting of the INDIA bloc in New Delhi on Saturday (June 01).

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said: "INDIA is getting 295 seats and the BJP will win around 220 seats and the NDA alliance will 235 seats."

"INDIA will form a strong and stable government on its own. (The PM face) will be decided on June 04," Kejriwal said.

Former Bihar deputy chief minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "We will get 295 . INDIA is winning. We will decide later (on PM's face). Their (BJP's) film of '400 paar' became a flop in the first phase itself."
