Applications are invited for recruitment of 345 vacant positions in CAPF in 2024

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Super Specialist Medical Officers, Medical Officers and Specialist Medical Officers in 2024. In India, the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) is the collective designation for the central police organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Since 2011, the term "central armed police forces" has been adopted, replacing the term "paramilitary." The CAPF is responsible for internal security and border protection. Each force within the CAPF is led by a Director General (DG), typically an officer from the Indian Police Service (IPS), with the exception of the Assam Rifles, which is headed by a Lieutenant General-ranked officer from the Indian Army.

Name of post : Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second in Command)

No. of posts : 5

Qualification :

i) MBBS or equivalent

ii) Enrolled in any State Medical Register

iii) Completed compulsory rotatory internship

iv) PG Degree or Diploma in related specialty

v) DM or MCh or equivalent with three years experience in concerned super-specialty

vi) Have permanent registration from MCI / NMC / State Medical Council before appointment

Name of post : Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant)

No. of posts : 176

Qualification :

i) MBBS or equivalent

ii) Completed compulsory rotatory internship

iii) PG Degree or Diploma in related specialty

iv) Have permanent registration from MCI / NMC / State Medical Council before appointment

Name of post : Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant)

No. of posts : 164

Qualification :

i) MBBS or equivalent

ii) Completed compulsory rotatory internship

iii) Have permanent registration from MCI / NMC / State Medical Council before appointment

Application Fees :

Male candidates belonging to General, OBC, EWS category should pay Rs. 400/- as application fee

SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and Female candidates gets exemption from payment of application fees
