Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the BJP's manifesto for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, titled 'Modi's Guarantee 2024' or 'Sankalp Patra,' emphasizing women's empowerment, youth upliftment, and poverty alleviation.

The manifesto aims at GYAN initiatives - addressing the needs of the 'Gareeb' (poor), 'Yuva' (youth), 'Annadaata' (farmers), and 'Nari' (women).

Additionally, it highlights goals such as enhancing India's prosperity, bolstering international relations, and preserving the nation's heritage, among other priorities.

Addressing the audience after revealing the manifesto, PM Modi stated that the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' strengthens "the four crucial pillars of a developed India - youth, women, poor, and farmers".

Here are the key promises outlined in the BJP's election manifesto:

  1. Expansion of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana to include elderly citizens (aged above 70) and the transgender community.
  2. Continuation of free ration for the next five years through PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
  3. Commitment to construct 3 crore houses and ensure affordable pipeline gas for all households, alongside offering free electricity to poor households under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
  4. Enforcement of the Uniform Civil Code and One Nation One Election as per the 'Sankalp Patra.'
  5. Pledge to elevate 3 crore women to Lakhpati Didis, increasing from the current nearly 1 crore women who have achieved this status.
  6. Priority housing for specially abled individuals under the PM Housing Scheme, with tailored efforts to meet their specific needs.
  7. Expansion of existing healthcare services to combat breast cancer, cervical cancer, anaemia, and osteoporosis, with a focus on eliminating cervical cancer.
  8. Implementation of stringent laws to curb misconduct in recruitment examinations nationwide.
  9. Commitment to periodically increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of crops and launch a Krishi Infrastructure Mission for coordinated agricultural infrastructure projects, along with deploying an indigenous Bharat Krishi satellite for farm-related activities.
  10. Guarantee to elevate India to the rank of the third-largest economic power globally, with the country currently occupying the fifth position.
