BJP names Pradyot Debbarma’s sister as its Tripura East candidate

AGARTALA: The Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) has named Maharani Kriti Singh Debbarma as its candidate from the Tripura East parliamentary seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The announcement of Maharani Kriti Singh Debbarma name as Tripura East candidate of the BJP was made on Wednesday (March 13) evening.

It may be mentioned here that Maharani Kriti Singh Debbarma is the elder sister of TIPRA leader and Tripura royal scion Pradyot Debbarma.

Kirti Singh, the elder sister of Pradyot, who is married and residing in Jharkhand, has been chosen as the candidate for the East Tripura seat to contest under the BJP's symbol.
