Guwahati: Bajaj Auto might soon revolutionize the commuter segment with its upcoming CNG-powered motorcycle.

Spotted testing alongside the new Bajaj Platina 110, this innovative offering is expected to launch around the festive season of 2024.

Targeted towards rural and semi-urban markets, the motorcycle boasts a rugged commuter design with a long, flat seat and a likely enclosed chain drive.

While the exact engine displacement remains undisclosed, it's expected to fall within the 110cc to 125cc range.

A crucial question yet to be answered is whether the engine will run solely on CNG or offer a dual-fuel option with petrol.

The name has not yet been revealed but there are chances that the new bike might get a name from one of its old models.

Bajaj might also name it Marathon or Glider, some reports suggested.
