Ducati Multistrada V4 RS revealed, most powerful model in the lineup
Ducati's most powerful model in the Ducati Multistrada line-up, the V4 RS has finally been revealed.
The Ducati Multistrada is powered by a 1,103cc V4 engine that makes 180hp, making it 10hp more powerful than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. The RS also gets a titanium sub-frame, Marchesini forged aluminium wheels, and a smaller battery to save weight.
The Multistrada V4 RS comes with several electronic rider aids.
It has multiple engine power modes with engine braking control and riding modes.

The newest Ducati further gets traction control, wheelie control as well as hill-hold control.
While launch control is quite common among motorbikes now, the Multistrada V4 RS gets radar-assisted adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection.
The RS is suspended by the same Ohlins electronically adjustable suspension as the Pikes Peak variant.

It also uses the same braking hardware as well, with the only difference being that the RS uses the same front brake pads as the Panigale V4.
The RS runs on Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 Corsa tires.
The Multistrada V4 RS has a lower, flatter, and slimmer handlebar, and its foot pegs are placed further back for a more engaging riding position.
The Multistrada V4 RS is not a limited edition model, but it is a "numbered" edition, with each bike featuring a numbered plaque on the triple clamp.
It will be made available globally in January 2024 and is expected to launch in India sometime next year.
It is expected to carry a heftier price tag than the Rs 31.48 lakh (ex-showroom, India) Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.
