Austrian embassy delegation visits Nagaland to explore entrepreneurial ecosystem
Dimapur: The Austrian embassy's commercial section visited Nagaland as part of its broader fact-finding mission to explore the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Northeast region.

This visit is part of the embassy’s larger tour across multiple states in the Northeast, to foster stronger economic ties and support the region's burgeoning startup culture.
In this connection, StartUp Nagaland, in partnership with the industries and commerce department, hosted a roundtable discussion on Friday at the Innovation and Incubation Space in Kohima on Friday.
The event brought together key officials from the Austrian embassy, government representatives, industry stakeholders, and local startups to explore potential partnerships aimed at bolstering Nagaland's startup ecosystem.
Ajay Singh, head of technology and innovation at the Austrian embassy's commercial section, and Aran Verma, adviser on organizational matters at Vantage Info, took part in the roundtable discussion.
During the session, the Austrian guests shared their perspectives on exploring avenues for collaboration with local stakeholders.
Singh and Verma spoke about the potential for innovation, technology exchange, and capacity building, offering insights into how Austrian expertise and resources could be harnessed to support the growth of local startups.
