In an emotional post written in Assamese, Palmee shared, “I learned to walk holding your hand and found courage in life… How did everything suddenly change! We deserve to know the truth.”

The post, accompanied by the hashtag #JusticeForZubeenGarg, has garnered widespread attention on social media, with thousands of fans and followers echoing her call for justice.

Many interpreted her words as both a personal expression of grief and a strong plea to authorities for a transparent investigation.

Zubeen Garg, one of Assam’s most beloved artists, passed away under mysterious circumstances on September 19, sparking widespread public outrage and demands for accountability.

The ongoing investigation by a nine-member SIT (Special Investigation Team) has already led to the arrest of seven individuals connected to the case, who are currently under judicial custody.

The accused include Shyamkanu Mahanta, Siddharth Sharma, Shekhar Goswami, Amritprabha Mahanta, Sandipan Garg, and two of Zubeen's bodyguards.

Meanwhile, Palmee’s heartfelt post adds to the growing chorus of voices from Assam’s artistic community, urging the government and investigative agencies to uncover the full truth behind the singer’s untimely death.

As emotions continue to run high across the state, her message serves as both a tribute to Zubeen’s legacy and a reminder that the people of Assam will not rest until justice is served.

Zubeen Garg tragically passed away at the age of 52 in Singapore under mysterious circumstances while swimming in the sea.
