Unidentified body found near Assam Secretariat in Guwahati

Guwahati: On Thursday morning an unidentified body of a man was found near a drain right next to the Assam Secretariat (Janata Bhawan) in Guwahati.

The unidentified body was found near the footbridge drain.

A team from the Dispur Police Station has begun an investigation into the incident.

The exact cause of death was not known till the filing of this report.

According to the police, the body was noticed by people working at a bank nearby.

All angles including murder, accident and even drug overdose are being looked into by the police.
