Three youths from Assam found dead in Tamil Nadu, one missing

Guwahati: Three youths from Assam were reportedly found dead in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.

Four youths from Lakwa locality in Assam's Charaideo district were reported missing in Tamil Nadu.

However, the bodies of three were found near Jolarpettai Railway Station in Tamil Nadu.

The deceased have been identified as Nabin Bhumij, Nava Bhumij, and Jhamoni Gor.

A fourth youth, Maina Bhumij, still remains missing.

Reports stated that the group departed for Tamil Nadu last Friday in search of work.

They were led by a man named Sawan Bagti.

Police are currently searching for the missing youth, Maina Bhumij.

The circumstances surrounding the deaths of the three others are unclear and are under investigation.
